School Day: Begins at 8:15 am and ends at 3:00 pm.


Jefferson School enjoys a national reputation for educational excellence, having been honored by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School. Our students flourish in a stimulating academic environment that emphasizes literature-based language strategies, process writing, problem solving, critical thinking, manipulative math experiences, and hands-on science and computer instruction.

The parents are a critical ingredient of our school's success as they participate in the teaching/learning process and as enthusiastic supporters of the Parent Teacher Organization. The PTO provides direct support for many of the the exciting activities listed below.
